How to Automate Email Marketing?

Automated Email Marketing.

Finding strategies to save valuable resources, such as time, is essential for business owners. Instead of sending emails or replying to customer care requests, you should concentrate on expanding your firm. Email marketing is one of those tasks you should never have to handle alone. Fortunately, email automation allows you to save both time and money. And in some cases, it can be free.

What is Email Automation?

Email automation uses a platform like MailChimp or Aweber to send automatic messages to people you have selected so they can receive a message you have chosen at a pre-selected time. And it is all done automatically with no manual input.

You may target customers based on their behavior, preferences, and previous sales when you integrate your website analytics (Such as Google Analytics) with your email marketing software. The experience of each customer may then be tailored, and your automated advertisements will be more pertinent.

Benefits of Automated Email Marketing.

I run a small business, and as a small businessman, my time is valuable. If there’s any way I can improve service or make it more effective, I’m all for it. And that’s why automated email marketing has been so popular, at least with me, over the past ten years. Complex processes can be streamlined to save time, which allows me to devote my free time to other business-related tasks.

Automated email marketing’s main goals are to increase the effectiveness of customer interactions, provide leads, facilitate the transition from customer browsing to customer purchasing, and convert clicks into paying customers.

Setting Up Your Campaign. (One example)

So, how do we do this? Here is one way.

A targeted list of contacts receives an email from you inviting them to download your most recent sales blog.
You thank them by email for their download and demonstrated interest.

You offer a new discount in an email you send a few days later to the people who downloaded your sales blog.
There is a very high possibility that customers will become interested in your goods or services if they choose the second offer.

That is when you should see some sales activity start to take place.

Obviously, lead generation is important for any business and you need a campaign that drip-feeds a succession of emails into the inboxes of your subscribers. This is one way you can employ email automation.

Other Benefits

There are a lot of other benefits, but I am only going to tap into those, that in my opinion, are the most relevant to my Affiliate Marketing business.

Don’t Annoy Your Customers.

There is nothing worse than overzealous marketing that continuously floods your inbox with pointless junk mail.  That type of marketing is not going to get much repeat business so don’t make the same mistakes as them.

However, with email automation software, there shouldn’t be a risk. Emails using marketing automation are a savvier business strategy for consumer segmentation because it enables businesses to create unique messages and content.

This can be done for your customers by breaking them into groups, which are typically divided up based on their demographics, geographic area, or past purchasing patterns.

This will give the most relevant message to a specifically defined group.

Earn Respect and Trust.

What is the most effective way to treat people with the respect they deserve? Employ names. It is true that email automation software is excellent at ensuring that clients are treated as though they are the only ones who count.

Someone who remembers and uses your name in casual conversation has a much higher chance of earning your trust and respect than someone who is obviously lazy and can’t be bothered. In email marketing, it’s the same.

Luckily, there is software available that will automatically personalize each email so you don’t have to, even if your list numbers are in the thousands. Just make sure you’ve provided the right information. Email marketing automation software will have customized fields that are automatically complete with names and corporate information.

Trust

Look Professional and Learn About One Another.

When automation does the tedious work, the results are more consistent and professional-looking. In short, email automation makes businesses appear better organized and more responsive.

When the email contact receives helpful and relevant emails from your business at a critical time for them, they’ll naturally have a greater awareness and understanding of your business. And the effort you put in to help them.

At the same time your customer is learning about you, you learn about your customers. Email automation allows you to understand your customers better.

You discover what links they tend to click on, which pages they visit more and the types of content they are interested in. Email workflows are an optimized way of marketing to your ideal customers.

Companies for Email Automation.

There are a number of companies who can help you automate your emails to your cherished customer list. And, yes, you have taken some time putting this list together and you don’t want it abused. It can take a good amount of time putting together a good email list and it only takes one wrong deed to destroy that trust. (But trust someone you are going to have to do), But Who…How and Why.

My personal choices are the three below that I use or have used in the past. Both AWeber and Mailchimp offer a free plan and flodesk offers a 30-day free trial.

1. AWeber

According to AWebers, their purpose “is to provide small businesses with effective, straightforward email marketing software that handles 90% of the work for you. They claim that they leave the final 10% up to your enjoyment.”

“AWeber are thrilled to support startups and company owners in realizing their ambitions. They enjoy developing amazing solutions that support the expansion of their clients’ enterprises by fostering closer ties with their target consumers.”

2. Mailchimp

According to Mailchimp, an all-in-one marketing platform for small businesses, “our smart marketing technology, award-winning support, and inspiring content empower millions of clients across the world to start and grow their businesses.” Mailchimp is a very successful, 100% founder-owned company with offices across the country, including Brooklyn, Oakland, and Vancouver. It was founded in 2001.

3. flodesk.

Flodesk was officially launched in November 2021, and it helps make branded marketing emails that focus on the creative aspect of email design. Flodesk was created by and for creators. It allows you to publish opt-in forms to expand your list, design and deliver marketing emails that are consistent with your brand, and construct effective email automation.

Final Words.

Hopefully, this has given you food for thought. But using an email list is still one of the best ways to capture and utilize your readers. If you aren’t placing yourself in front of your readers, you can be sure that someone, somewhere else definitely will be.
