YouTube channels are the most popular and successful vlogs, but there are many more sites where you can publish, like MeWe and the newcomer Tik Tok.
While video is the vlog format and the web is the publishing medium, you are only limited by your inventiveness. In terms of style, your vlog can be educational or performance art, documentary, or humorous in content.

You shouldn’t make your vlog on whatever you want just because you can. After all, you want people to watch your content and listen to you. So don’t make it boring.

Use your smartphone.
Almost every smartphone on the market, whether it’s an Android or an Apple device, has a decent video camera. Sure, it won’t be as good as a real camera, but it’ll do the job just fine.
Tripod and post-production.
Add a tripod to help with the stability of the phone, selfie stick at least, then the phone camera can be used for vlogging.
You can use post-production tools, which can be downloaded as an app or come pre-installed on your smartphone, to apply any effects. ScreencastOmatic is pretty cool as a video capture tool.
